Leia was retained from our 2019 Breeding Program. Leia is a very tall and dairy looking kid with correct legs, pasterns and feet and a level top-line. The most notable trait is her extremely mellow temperament which is very reminiscent of her dam, Treasured Sunrise Wandella. We like what we are seeing at such an early stage in her development. Leia will be kept as a dry yearling in 2020 and bred in our 2021 Breeding Program. Super excited to see how she develops and performs in the show ring this coming year.

2021 Updates

This doe really surprised us as a first freshener. Similar full body capacity to her dam with a perfect balanced udder, correct legs, strong pasterns, feet and a teat placement to die for. On her first milk test at 3 weeks fresh, she produced 8# and her production continues to increase. It will be very interesting to see how she does in her first year on milk test.

We’ve started taking Leia on the show circuit and she certainly has not disappointed us against strong competition. She scores strongly in body capacity, general appearance and mammary. Her limitation at this time is capaciousness which we fully expect will correct itself on her second freshening. So much upside for this young doe.
